چکیده
Natural antioxidants have renewed value for human health and the food industry. Green labeling is becoming an important attribute consumers impacting processing formulations. Clean label another that ranked third after “free-from” claims “a good source” of nutrient claims. attributes also are higher than local, seasonal, organic. Techniques able to preserve valuable characteristics natural antioxidants, while eliminating even trace amounts solvent residues from their extraction processing, important. Supercritical fluids (SCF) effective green technology can be adopted antioxidants. This review focused on application supercritical carbon dioxide (SCCO2) extracting hydrophobic antioxidant compounds with emphasis oilseed crops carrots. The information provided about parameters helps guide optimization yield tocopherols carotenoids. Pressure most parameter tocopherol among other parameters, such as temperature, time, CO2 flow rate. For carotenoid extraction, both pressure temperature a large impact yield. Higher yields greater purity extracts, larger retention bioactivity main advantages fluid (SFE) in comparison conventional techniques. benefits SCF may open new opportunities valuable, co-streams use bioactive compounds.

Rice Bran Oil Extraction with Supercritical Fluid (sfe) to Obtain Enriched Tocopherols and Tocotrienols Fractions
Parboiled rice bran oil was obtained using supercritical CO2 under different conditions of temperature (2°C to 40°C) and pressure (25 to 200 bar). In this study the experiments were carried out with two separators coupled to the extractor. The temperature levels in the first separator were 25°C and 40°C and in the second it was maintained constant at 2°C. The pressures in the first separator we...
متن کاملApplications of supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) of palm oil and oil from natural sources.
Supercritical fluid extraction (SFE), which has received much interest in its use and further development for industrial applications, is a method that offers some advantages over conventional methods, especially for the palm oil industry. SC-CO₂ refers to supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) that uses carbon dioxide (CO₂) as a solvent which is a nontoxic, inexpensive, nonflammable, and nonpoll...
متن کامل[Multiresidue analysis of pesticides in tea by supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) and GC-MS].
A multiresidue analysis of pesticides in tea using supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) and GC-MS was developed. The preprocessing using SFE shortened the total analysis time. The SFE extract contained less matrices than the extract obtained with organic solvents. However, these matrices disturbed instrumental analysis. So, the extract was cleaned up with ENVI™-Carb/NH2 and InertSep™ SI cartrid...
متن کاملSubcontracted Rational SFE
In their paper, “Rational Secure Computation and Ideal Mechanism Design,” Izmalkov, Lepinski and Micali show that any one-shot mediated game can be simulated by the players themselves, without the help of a trusted mediator, using physical envelopes and a ballot-box. We show that communication between the players is not essential to the ILM protocol. That is, we provide a protocol for rational ...
متن کاملSupercritical Carbon Dioxide and Microwave-Assisted Extraction of Functional Lipophilic Compounds from Arthrospira platensis
Arthrospira platensis biomass was used in order to obtain functional lipophilic compounds through green extraction technologies such as supercritical carbon dioxide fluid extraction (SFE) and microwave-assisted extraction (MAE). The temperature (T) factor was evaluated for MAE, while for SFE, pressure (P), temperature (T), and co-solvent (ethanol) (CS) were evaluated. The maximum extraction yie...
